Agreement

By using Daily Web Lab you agree to these terms. If you do not agree with them, please do not use the site. They apply to everyone who visits, with or without using a tool.

What the service is

Daily Web Lab provides free browser-based utilities and written guides. No registration is required, no payment is taken, and no account exists. The tools run on your own device; we do not receive, process, or store what you put into them, as described in the privacy policy.

The tools are provided as they are

The tools are offered without warranty of any kind, express or implied, including any implied warranty of merchantability, fitness for a particular purpose, or non-infringement. We aim for correctness and we fix reported defects, but we do not warrant that any tool is free of errors, that it will be available without interruption, or that its output is suitable for any particular use.

Put practically: check the output before you rely on it. If a result matters, whether that is a configuration file heading for production, data you cannot regenerate, or anything with money or safety attached, verify it and keep your original. Nothing on this site is professional advice of any kind.

Your content stays yours

We claim no ownership of and no licence to anything you enter into a tool. This is straightforward to promise because your input never reaches us. You are responsible for having the right to process whatever you paste in, and for complying with any obligations attached to it.

Acceptable use

You agree not to:

• use the site to break the law, or to process material you have no right to process;
• attempt to gain unauthorised access to the site, its server, or any connected system;
• interfere with the site’s operation, including through automated traffic that degrades it for other people;
• copy the site’s pages or written content wholesale in order to republish them;
• generate artificial clicks, impressions, or traffic against any advertising the site carries, or encourage anyone else to.

Reasonable automated use is fine. The tools are client-side, so scripting your own browser against them costs us nothing.

Intellectual property

The site’s name, design, written guides, and source code belong to the operator unless stated otherwise. You may link to any page freely, and quote short passages with attribution. Republishing whole articles or reproducing the site is not permitted without permission.

Advertising and third-party links

The site may carry advertising and may link to other websites. We do not control third-party content and are not responsible for it, for the products or services it offers, or for the privacy practices of sites you reach by following a link. Advertising, when present, will be distinguish­able from the site’s own content and will never be styled to resemble a tool control.

Limitation of liability

To the fullest extent permitted by law, the operator will not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, or consequential loss, or for any loss of data, profit, or revenue, arising from your use of or inability to use the site, including any loss arising from reliance on a tool’s output.

Nothing in these terms limits liability for death or personal injury caused by negligence, for fraud, or for anything else that cannot lawfully be limited. Some jurisdictions do not allow certain exclusions, in which case the exclusions above apply only as far as that jurisdiction allows, and your statutory rights as a consumer are unaffected.

Availability and changes to the site

The site is offered on a best-effort basis. Tools may be added, changed, or withdrawn, and the site may be unavailable at times without notice. Where a tool is retired, we will try to say so on its page rather than let the address break.

Changes to these terms

These terms may be revised. The “last updated” date at the top of the page reflects the current version, and continuing to use the site after a change means you accept the revised terms.
