Privacy Policy
The short version: the tools run in your browser, we hold no accounts, and nothing you paste into this site is ever sent to us.
Last updated
Summary
- Your tool input never reaches us. Formatting, validating, converting and the rest all happen inside your browser.
- There are no accounts, so there is no profile, no email list, and no password to lose.
- No advertising or analytics is currently running on this site. When it is, it will load only if you agree to it.
- We do not sell or share personal information for cross-context behavioural advertising.
The rest of this page is the detail behind those four points.
Who is responsible
Daily Web Lab is operated by Umair Nazir, based in Lahore, Pakistan, who is the data controller for the purposes of the UK GDPR and the EU GDPR. Questions about this policy, and any request to exercise the rights described below, should go to support@hustlebazar.com.
What the tools do with what you paste into them
Nothing leaves your device. The tools are written to run entirely in your browser using standard web APIs, so text, files, and any other input you provide are processed locally and discarded when you close or reload the page. There is no upload step, no copy kept on a server, and no log of tool contents, because the content never arrives anywhere it could be logged.
If a future tool genuinely cannot work this way, the tool’s own page will say so before you use it, and this policy will be updated to describe what that tool sends and why.
What is stored on your device
Two small values are kept in your browser’s local storage. Neither is sent to us, and neither identifies you.
- Theme preference: whether you chose light mode, dark mode, or to follow your system setting.
- Cookie choice: a record of whether you accepted or declined advertising and analytics cookies, so you are not asked again on every page.
Both are strictly functional: they store a setting you chose and do no tracking, which is why they are not themselves subject to consent. You can clear them at any time through your browser’s site-data settings.
Advertising and analytics
Neither is active on this site at the time of writing. No advertising script and no analytics script is loaded on any page. The blank bordered areas you may see are reserved layout space, not ad units.
The intention is to introduce both:
- Google AdSense, to fund hosting and keep the tools free. AdSense may set cookies and use device identifiers to select and measure ads, including personalised ads where permitted.
- Google Analytics, to understand which tools are used and where people get stuck, in aggregate.
Neither will load unless you accept them. Declining is a single click, costs you no functionality, and prevents the scripts from being requested at all rather than merely disabling them after loading. You can change your answer at any time using the Cookie settings link in the footer.
When these services are enabled, this page will be updated in the same release to name them and to link to their own privacy terms. If you are reading a version of this page that still says they are inactive but you can see advertising, please tell us, because that would be a mistake on our part.
Server logs
Like effectively every website, the server that delivers these pages keeps standard access logs. A log entry typically records the IP address the request came from, the page requested, the time, and the browser’s user-agent string. These are used to keep the site online and to investigate abuse and errors. The lawful basis is our legitimate interest in operating a secure service. They are not used to build a profile of you, are not combined with anything else, and are kept only as long as they are useful for that purpose.
Your rights
If you are in the UK, the European Economic Area, or another region with comparable law, you have the right to ask what personal data we hold about you, to have it corrected or erased, to object to or restrict how it is used, and to receive a copy of it. You also have the right to complain to your data protection authority.
If you are a California resident, you have the right to know what personal information is collected and for what purpose, to request its deletion, to correct it, and to opt out of its sale or sharing. We do not sell personal information, and we do not share it for cross-context behavioural advertising unless you have accepted advertising cookies. Declining, or later changing your answer in the footer, is the opt-out. Exercising any of these rights will never result in a worse experience on this site.
In practice, requests are usually short conversations: with no accounts and no stored tool data, there is generally nothing held about a specific person to produce or delete. Write to support@hustlebazar.com and we will respond within the time your local law allows.
International transfers
This site is operated from Pakistan, so the server that delivers these pages and its access logs may sit outside your country. If advertising or analytics is enabled and you accept it, those providers may also process data outside your country, including in the United States, under the transfer safeguards they publish. Nothing else about this site involves transferring personal data, because there is nothing to transfer.
Children
This site is a general-audience set of utilities and is not directed at children under 13. We do not knowingly collect personal information from them. If you believe a child has provided personal information, please contact us and we will delete it.
Changes to this policy
When this policy changes, the “last updated” date at the top of the page changes with it. Material changes, particularly switching on advertising or analytics, will be reflected here before or at the moment they take effect, never afterwards.
